Alright guys I am currently using sm5 wedges in 54.10 and 62.08 and since i have had them I struggle to hit the 54 from tight lies (ie fairways etc) with the 62 i have zero problems off any surface. The 62 has a much wider sole and lower bounce. I am a digger and come in at a pretty steep angle. Would the TVD K-Grind low bounce be a good wedge to try? I see great reviews on them and saw diggers/steep angle had success too. Any opinions on what to try? Let me know thanks guys!!

    Dear Luke:

    Thank you for your question.

The Vokey Design Low Bounce K is a great wedge. It has the same bounce as the SM5 54.10S, but a wider, higher cambered sole giving it a different turf interaction.

From what you have described, the wider sole and enhanced camber of the Vokey Design K sounds like a good choice.

If you prefer the crescent grind of your SM5 62.08 T, another option worth trying would be the SM5 54.10M or SM6 54.08M. This grind is geared towards a neutral to shallower player. but it may give you the turf interaction on tighter lies you are searching for.

Thanks for the quick reply! Would a high bounce sm6 k-grind be any good you think?? Looks like it has wider sole too? Which is more important in this case grind or the bounce?

    Luke W:

Currently, the K grind is only offered in the 58° and 60° lofts in the SM6 line of wedges.

Bounce and grind typically go hand-in-hand, however bounce is usually the determining factor. We would highly recommend visiting your local Titleist fitter in your area to try the different grinds side-by-side in order to get the most optimized wedges for your game.
