  1. I play vokey sm5/sm6 (4 wedges) and titleist 915 D2 etc, really love that driver! My son has always had vokey wedges with graphite ladies shafts and I want to keep him on vokey but we went for a new GC2 iron fitting in surrey a few montsh ag as he's now 5.10 ( at just age 15 and his ladies clubs were too soft and too small (he's growing very fast).

Much as I wanted him to get the titleist irons he prferred the png ( and actually was very good with them) - he was so much better withe th 74gram standard png graphite shafts - I couldn't argue with GC2 and teh fiter sdidnt have anything of roughly teh same weight to throw in the titleist irons.

However, I convinced my son to keep his vokey wedges but I am now trying to find shafts around 74gram torque 2.1 - to put in them, I am convinced he liked the pings because the shafts are much lighter at 74 gram.

Can you help with re shafting his vokey wedges which have really light 50 gr titleist ladies graphite shafts - he needs somethimg regular flex graphite 74 gr, toque 2.1 and med-high launch- for his wedges? I checked but could only find lighter or much heavier.

    Many thanks J

I understand your/son's need for the lighter shaft. I'd like to share my experience as I just recently went from one soft step in stiff steel, down to regular light shaft.

In my research, I found N.S. Pro a shaft company had developed a steel shaft that competes with graphite shaft characteristics with an amazing power. The product- steel shaft is called "Zelos7" by N.S. pro. They are the lightest steel shaft in the world, as they say, and I found that to be true.

    Good luck!
