  1. I know that how good a club is can be rather subjective and based on numerous factors BUT I still would like to get some general input from actual users rather than technical reviews. I have the SM4 in 52 and 56 degrees and just wondering if the SM6's are in fact materially better than the SM4's. Is it worth the money to upgrade? They look incredible in my opinion but wondering if it's worth it.

    Thanks Sean

Sean, although I haven't receive the email that would contain my specs on wedges from a fitting a week ago, Thursday, I think your question can be answered by the different grinds and different weighting found in SM6 technology/engineering. I believe it is because of those grinds and weight distribution that the SM6 will be more fit and effective for the player and therefore allow a player to perform better shots they intend to play.

Try them out or get fit. I demo'd the SM6's at my course for a range session and a round, and then placed an order for a 52F, 56S and 60S. They feel incredible, the progressive weight really works (great gaping to my 47* PW from the Vokey GW, and lower flight on the LW full swings), and they obviously have great spin.

I hit my pitches/chips almost exclusively square-faced, so I found the F and the S to be perfect. I struggled with the M, but if you like to open the face and hit high flop shots, then M should work for you. YMMV.

I ordered the Jet Black finish.

    Good luck!

What they said above. I personally replace my wedges every 2-3 years due to wear. I'll get them regrooved once or twice but after that I'll replace them. Depending when you got your wedges being that model was initially produced 2-4 years ago. You may just want to jump in and get new ones. If you only got them a year or so ago I would go get fitted for wedges and see for yourself...you'll probably want to pull the trigger and get some!
  5. Well said Darren.
