  1. Considering switching my Raw Black SM5 for the new SM6's. Are there any drastic improvements that would warrant the change?

  2. The new horizontal milling provides more spin on shots

If you go by the reviews it's a emphatic 'YES'. Sounds like this was one of the best improvements to and already best wedge of the bunch I have a SM6 56 & 60 on order. Can't wait for them to come

JI4... in a word... YES! You can read all about the updates to the SM6 line on the web. We recently participated in a Team Titleist event at TPI and got to hit the new wedges... in front of Voke and his fitters. It was an insanely cool experience. Most importantly, hitting the 6's from all sorts of lies as well as the bunker gave us immediate feedback and validation on why these clubs need to replace the current Vokey setup in your bag. I've already added the 56 and will swap out my 48 this upcoming week. You'll be happy you did as well! Shout-out to Austin, who was hugely helpful that day in getting me squared away with my bounce and grind combos!

Vokey moved the center of gravity on the lower and higher lofted wedges. So earlier models were more like sand wedges with different lofts. The 48-54 and 58-62 degree wedges will now play differently. The SM6 52 is much improved for my game over the SM5 52 now in the basement. My 58 Spin-Milled will be next to the basement if the 60 SM6 is as much improved as the 52 was for me.

I have the sm6 50* f grind and love the feel. the problem is I can hit it about 90 to 100 yds. tops. I can hit my sm5 52* 110 yds. can anyone tell me what's up or if they have the same problem. the new club is a stock 50* sm6 f grind black finish with a wedge flex tt dg shaft. any thoughts other than the loft being 2 to 3 * off. thanks
