  1. I'm purchasing 54 degree hockey sm5. But I'm not sure which bounce I need. I'm using 50 degree with 8 bounce f grind vockey sm5. I have 58 degree 8 bounce m grind. I either have 10 or 14 bounce I can pick. I don't usually play bunker with very soft sand like at Florida. Much slight firm bunker. 4 degree bounce is too much ?

  2. If you are playing firmer turf or sand I would consider smaller amount of bounce...I would probably say 4 is too small however 6 or 8 may be better...IMHO

I try to keep the bounces pretty close on my wedges. I've seen guys buy a 10 and a 14, which require a different action through the ball. Then they ask what the problem is. I'd go with the 10, as it's very close to the 8.

I agree I live in Vegas sand here is firm and fairways mostly firm as well Titleist fitter put me in 10 degree bounce because of conditions same swing on both wedges
  5. I play the same 50 & 58 wedges you have. I also have the 54 w/10 degrees of bounce for the firm sand at my home course. The wedges feel and play very consistently.
