I recently purchased a Steel Grey 58.12 K Grind wedge and I just noticed that I have a knick in the metal on the sole of the club. I must have hit a rock in a sand trap or something. Has this ever happened to anyone? What can I do to fix it? Is that even necessary? Loving my new wedges! #TeamTitleist

    Sean,
That's normal, most people will have nicks and dings one many of their clubs depending on how often they play and the conditions of the courses they play. This will not effect how the club itself performs, just look at it as a battle scar and keep playing!

Can happen to any club, just takes a stone under the ball. I would not worry about it.
But if you want, just use a small file and take the edge off.

I personally think that getting nicks in your wedges is bound to happen. Who knows whats in the dirt below the grass or mixed in with the sand when you make impact. I purchased 2 new SM6 wedges about a month ago and they both are already covered in small nicks on the sole and the sand wedge has begun to lose its matte black finish from the sand. Hope this helps!
  5. It happens to me all the time...it does not affect performance and I would not worry about fixing it...
