Hi guys, Can anyone confirm if closing the face angle of a sm5 wedge also reduces bounce angle? So if I closed my 60 to 58 would it also reduce the bounce from 8 to 6? Or does opening it reduce bounce? Also, is there any chance of Low bounce K grinds (6 degrees) for Leftys? Regards Warrick

It is a one to one ratio, either way. One degree face angle, one degree bounce.

All the standard wedges are available as RH/LH. You'd have to contact the Wedge Works since the K-grind is only available in either hand as 12 degrees bounce.

As Chuck indicated it is a 1 deg to 1 deg relation. The proper terminolgy is increase or decrease loft (as opposed to close or open). If you have your LOB wedge loft decreased by 2 degrees then you are decreasing the angle 2 degrees between the back edge of the sole that rests on the ground at address and the sole leading edge . This angle that is formed is referred to as the bounce angle.
