SM5 to SM6 Bounce Change

    I own SM5 S Grind wedges - a 54 with 10 degrees of bounce and a 58 with 7 degrees of bounce. It is time to replace, but now the SM6 S Grind 58 has been changed to 10 degrees instead of 7. Any one know why Vokey did not stick to same loft and bounce in SM6 58?

    Some of it has to do with design adjustments, others have to do with tour feedback. Otherwise, there are no specific reasons I am aware of...just some minor adjustments. Keep in mind you can always go to another loft and have loft added or subtracted to achieve bounce if that is key to you.

    Bob and his team are continually working with the best players in the world to tweak and improve the tour grinds and bounces on Vokey Wedges.

    The S Grind bounce was increased as a response to players request for more playable bounce with this grind.

    If you played the S grind in the SM5 model, and liked it, we think you will be very satisfied with the S grind in the SM6 model.
