Hi gang! Anybody see the new video on the Vokey web sight testing wedge wear? It's VERY eye opening! If I heard it right it mentions Jordan Speith changes wedges every 2 tournaments! If a "serious" amateur player wants to maintain optimum playing characteristics of their wedges, they would get new wedges a couple times a year! How many people can afford that?! That would be the ultimate TEAM TITLEIST member!

I went and checked it out after reading your post. I found it really interesting as well. 75 rounds for me is probably around October so I'll def. probably look into new wedges yearly after seeing the robot results. But also most of us aren't tour pros and aren't hitting the ball in a quarter sized spot 95% of the time so our faces should wear a little slower with ball dispersion over the face. It's def. something to look in to. I may try hitting my wedges on a simulator now and later in the season to check spinrates and see if they drop like with the robot tests.

75 rounds can come up fast if you're practicing on the range a lot also. Most people who play with any sort of regularity will get there in a year and I know I don't switch wedges every year.
  4. I've had over 6 sm5's and sm6's at one time, I've got 5 right now, different grinds and bounces.

you should look into a groove sharpener they are very useful for the person who wants that new bite feel of a club without all the $$$ spent.

I definitely have over 75 round in mine not counting range time where all I do is hit my wedges. I planned on waiting until the SM7s come out next year but now I'm not quite sure.
