I have a set of 716 AP2's 5 tp P.W and a wedge setup of 50/54/58 SM7 vokey's all were custom fitted. I'm considering changing to 718 AP3's probably next year. My dilemma is the AP2 P.W is 46° so my wedge setup fits in perfectly, now the AP3 P.W is 43° giving a 7° gap to my 50°. Do I get a 46° vokey which will then only give me a gap of only 3° between AP3 P.W. & 50°. I don't want to change my weďges as they're not very old. I could look at a combination set of AP2/AP3 but then somewhere within the set I'm faced with a 5°, 6°, 7° gap. My gut tells me to just get a 46° wedge. If the AP3 lofts were a degree or two weaker then no problem. I really like Titleist equipment, but why do they have to make things complicated.
