    Hi TT members,

As you might have seen. Vokey has introduced a new line up type for their SM7 wedges. It's called clean slate. It looks like it has a blue finish on it.

The rich slate finish with a tint of blue provides a premium look, with the finish durability of a traditional chrome wedge.

Finish: Slate Blue (RH/LH) Available: 1st February 2019

In my opinion I'm missing the Tour Chrome editions. My experience with the jet black is that it get's rusty very quick and bad looking shape. Also brushed serie get's scratchy looking very soon. I think this will be the same with the blue finish. Where is the time that the Tour Chrome was available. So much more better looking. What is your opinion on the new blue clean slate?

    Happy swings,

    Bart

I like the look of these. $204 on the Vokey website is a little much for me. That's without any extras. I also have the raw black but with the exception of the fading/wear on the bottom edges I don't get the rust you're talking about. Do you clean them or wipe them after every shot?

Tour Chrome is still offered as a standard offering.

    I think they look awesome!
Anyone know if you can order custom shafts and custom lofts on these!

You can pre order custom on the Vokey website. Was just playing around with it, seeing what I could do.

    Love them, but...

I wish I had waited another couple of weeks. I just took delivery of two SM7s in Tour Chrome. If I had known, I would have gone for these.

Apparently these are not a raw finish like the blacks so they should approach the current models for care even if the color is removed with wear. I'm getting a fitting in mid-April, so I'll need to take my chances they will still be available then.
