  1. We do not have that many shops that made Wedge fitting. But we have one, but it is not a officiel Titleist fitting. So my question is, is it normale that you not getting fitted with the right shaft?, but only with the right bounce, grind and loft?

I am using project X 6,5 in my irons, shouldn't i be using this shaft in the wedge as well? ex. the Gap wedge or sand wedge, were i use full swing?

  2. Player's choice when it comes to shafts - many tour players will have X100's in their irons and S400's in their wedges because they play less than full shots most of the time. If you play 6.5's in your irons you can match that or opt for the 6.0's in the wedges- no upcharge for those shafts, however some options will have an upcharge. The stock shaft used by Vokey is dynamic gold S200.

I use the same shafts, the Project X 6.5s. I didn't do an official Titleist fitting, but I did use our club pro who did my iron fitting and is a Titleist guy through-and-through.

I asked the same question, should I use the same shafts or something different? Without hesitation, he said stay with the same ones and I did the fitting with swings of varying speed and length. We played mostly with bounce and grind until finding the winning combination. He had me change my lofts from 52 and 56 to 54 and 58 to better gap from my 718 AP1s.

The major change was having the shafts lengthened at lie adjusted to match my irons, because I had used stock wedges previously. Had to have the wedges ported to get them remotely near the swingweight chart.

    Hope this information helps.
