I am on a every other year turn-over schedule, so for me, I am always on the even number releases. Currently game he SM8's so I will be ready again come SM10 time.

I replace all my wedges yearly and my 56/62 generally mid season (the sand seems to wear them out quicker, or they just get used more often). I play around 100-125 rounds a year, so statistically, really about the same pace as you.

There have been several good posts with detailed spin data documenting how quickly wear effects spin. That said, I have a pretty slow swing speed and rely more on trajectory than spin so my wedge face degradation has less impact on the way I play than some other people. I also recognize that it is a slow degradation therefore my on-course adjustments to landing areas is more evolutionary and not too noticeable. That said, I upgrade my wedges to the new releases each time so they are never older than the 2 year release pattern. I recognize that many folks use theirs in longer or shorter intervals. Generally every year, NEVER more than 2 years. I play 120-150 rounds a year and practice 3 days a week.

SW and LW every year. GW every two years when Vokey releases a new model. I typically play 175-200 days a year....plus practice days. My lob and sand wedges are definitely in need of replacement after a season.

I change grips on those two wedges about 4 times a year, plus regular cleaning in between replacements.

I play about 120 rounds per year. I replace my Vokey wedges every year.
