Pro V1 is great. NXT Tour is great for the money.

Matt-
I have played them both. When I hit a pro VIx pure, I can spin it off the green. Without question the pro vix will provide more spin.
Question, tho.....Are you often long? If not, why ask for spin.
Merry Christmas!!!! Hoping you get a stocking full of Pro V's

I like the nxt tour ball (yellow) but if I had to pick between Pro V1 or Pro V1 x I'd go Pro V1

It seems to me, you should choose the ball that offers what you want. For example, if you want longer drives, the NXT is the way to go. If you want better control on 2nd shots and in the short game, the ProV1(x) is best. Why not test both and see what gives you better scores?

I actually jump around between both of these balls. The way it was explained to me by a Titleist fitter is they are essentially the exact same ball but you will notice the difference around the greens. They will fly about the same trajectory and distance both off the tee and with your irons but the Pro V1X will give you some more stopping power.
I usually buy the prior generation Pro V1X balls because they are only about $6 more than a dozen NXT Tour. Either way, if it says "Titleist" you know you are going to get a quality product.

I would recommend doing a ball fitting the next time Titleist is at your club. I had the same question and after my fitting I found out I should be playing ProV1's. The fitting is 100% worth it... Highly recommend it.

Pro v1x or NXT tour?

Unless you're losing a dozen balls a round, Pro V1x
