I heard about it thru our local Titleist rep when I emailed him and told him that I, as of April 1st, am working for the new FootJoy rep doing events in the area. I just signed up and have an appointment tomorrow at 2pm. Think it is time to move on to the 716 AP1s. Am playing the 714 AP2s with XP95 shafts and feel they are a bit light. Will find out tomorrow at the fitting. This is a fantastic idea and am spreading the word. Thanks, Titleist.

I met with Billy (Titleist Certified Fitter) and Bobby (Regional Sales Rep) and learned a lot about my current set up. Either I was fitted improperly previously at a golf specialty store or my body has changed in two years. Either way my lie is off 3* and the new AP1s are something else. Ordered the 716 AP1s w/ XP 105 stiff shafts velvet midsize two extra wraps 5-PW and Vokey SM6 50.08 F and 56.14 F same shafts all 2* flat. My previous shafts were XP 95 1* UP. I really like that they are using 7 irons to demo now instead of 6 irons. I brought my AP2 6 iron so I could do comparisons on the trackman. In the end I was hitting the new set up 10 yard farther than my current 6 iron (which the lofts are set to AP1 standards). Think I am going to like the new ladies. Thank you Billy, Bobby and Titleist. If they are in your town, go by and see them. It is worth you time and effort.

Once again Titleist proves why more people prefer their brand over others. Outside of great products they are committed to helping others try & use their products. Great work TT hope I can find a location near me.

Very happy to see this happening. I already registered for the closest club next month (I figure that gives me a month to get my swing in OK shape after the winter months). I can't wait!

Do they carry a selection of left-handed clubs as well?

Cathi, will I be able to try out long irons to determine a set make-up or will the only irons available to hit be the fitting set 7 irons?

Cathi, (or anyone who can answer this for me) I am signed up for a Titleist Thursday this week and I'm wondering if I will have an opportunity to test long irons (3,4,5) so I can make a decision based on yardage gaps also if I want to consider a mixed set. Thank you.
