It's great that Titleist wants to improve enough that they just don't rely on the pros for feedback.  Keep up the good work Titleist!!!

Had a hole in one on a 168 yard par 3 with the test ball.  Keep sending them!

I received mine two weeks ago and have played five rounds with the sleeve. I liked them ok but I prefer all shots with my current Velocity balls. The prototype ball seemed similar to the ProV-1's.

These golf balls are awesome. I will reserve what I think are great about them until most have had time to post their reactions. I believe this ball will be a game changer.

Got mine a few weeks ago. Went to Grandover Resort to do my testing. Great ball. After getting used to distance and around the greens difference from my Pro Vx is shot great round. love these balls.

Great feel and pop with the irons.  Felt great with putter.  I may have had an off day, but the prototype was having more

spin off the driver than current  V!.  Maybe it was me.   Fairway, hybrid and irons were great, soft feel and pop off the clubs.

Little farther.  Stopped faster than what I have now.  Driver just takes some getting used to.

Tested the prototype ball every other hole against the ProV1. Found the test ball harder, a bit less distance, but a straighter ball.The test ball didn't have that soft feel especiially around the greens.

Received the RED #1's.  I normally game the Pro-V1x and the Proto ball looked identical to me.  

On the course, I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the Proto felt with all clubs.  The Proto had the all important soft-buttery-feel with the putter.  

Distance was really good across the board and control around the greens was excellent.  Plenty of spin when you need it.  I noted a couple of short iron shots went really high (result = short), which is rare for me.  Might have been my swing but it could have been the ball spinning more? 

The Proto performed wonderfully for my swing and to me felt just like a Pro-V1.  Would play it without hesitation on a dry course with firm greens.

I must be one of the few that didn't like the TEST balls.  I usually play a Pro V1x.

With driver the TEST ball was good.  The difference in distance was minimal.  I did notice less spin on with the TEST ball which kept a few shots closer to my line than my 1x would have been.  If I could change balls mid-hole, I'd like the TEST ball more.

5-iron on down was a disappointment.  The ball didn't hang in the air like my 1x does.  Noticed that more with my 7-8-9 irons.  The 1x comes down softer than the TEST ball.

One of my favorite shots is a dead arms 85-90 yard shot with my 56*.  The 1x will usually hop forward a few feet and back up about half-way to where it landed.  The TEST ball was rolling forward after the bounce.  Same results with a 40-yard low "pitch" with my 60.  I play that shot to hop and bite (like dead stop bite).  The TEST ball was more hop and "check" and roll out.

The TEST ball durability was fantastic.  I got through one round with the same TEST ball and there were no noticeable scuffs or marks and was ready to go for round 2.  Unfortunately, it found the driving range on my first swing (just an awful unwarmed-up swing).

Not saying it's a bad ball, but it's not the ball for me.  Well... unless they're free of course.

I liked the balls a lot but really couldn't tell much difference from the 2014 V1x.  If this turns out to be the new version I'll game them as well!

Have played several rounds with them now and whatever they are, they are awesome. A very soft feeling ball but distance is still very good. In fact I hit my longest drive this season with it. The ball spins like crazy on short iron and full wedge shots. I feel like I can really attack the pin and make the ball stick. I'll be playing the final matches in my league championship this week and I feel like I have a secret weapon....... :)

I've played two rounds with my prototype balls and I love them!  They jump off the club face of my driver and fairway metals, and I control them better with my short irons and wedges.  They also have the same great feel off my putter, and they seem more durable than the current Pro V1s.  I wish I had a dozen of them!!
