  1. One of the best shots I’ve ever hit with my pro V1 was with my Driver. I drove the green on a 330 yard par 4 leaving myself with a 3 ft. put for eagle which I made.
  2. Actually, I was using the new yellow AVX and on two successive holes, I holed out for back to back eagles. The first was a 165 yard 5 hybrid and the next hole an 80 yard gap wedge, both with the same ball. Quite a way to start using a new titleist ball for the first time. That being said, I’m still partial to the ProV1x.
  3. My best shot was a hole in one at Northstar Golf Course north of Columbus, Ohio 15th hole, 148 yards 9 iron. I still have the ball. The course was going to order a plaque for me (if I pay for it) and I said I would but they never did. I called several times to follow up but never ordered it, bummer. Anyways that’s my best shot and my only hole in one ever!!!!

Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

My BEST shot was a hole-in-one in a Member-Guest tournament in Sarasota, FL....a husband wife tournament, a 195 par three on a Gary Player course, into the wind...I selected a three wood, my partner , the member, said no way, so I hit a DRIVER into the hole, and we later finished second in the event Tom Jewell it was my 6th hole-in-one, and I had one more 6 month's later
  5. Forrester Park Resort, Fife. 11th hole is a tough par 4 with a large pond in fairway and OOB left and right and about 20 yards behind green. Hit a great drive over corner of dogleg and then hit 2nd shot 165 yards straight in the hole.
  6. Maybe the best shot I or anyone else in the UK will hit will be the next one; once this lockdown ends. Most likely to be followed by a 3 off the tee...

Had to wait 25 years to play the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island after watching the "War on the Shore".
Then had to wait 4 days for the course to dry out after being practically underwater following a storm.
Last day before we had to head home, sun shone, winds were light (relatively) and we had the green light to play.

Lucky to get a great caddie who clubbed me really well after seeing me play a couple of holes. I was loving every minute and playing nicely then come to the par 5 11th. Hit a great drive and had a little over 200 yards to go to what looked like a tiny green. Caddie asked how I was feeling and I said I felt like I could go for it. He handed me my AP2 5 iron and I flushed it high into the blue sky. Never left the flag but with the raised green couldn't see where it landed until we got to the green. The ball was about 3 feet from the hole and I've never been so nervous on the putt but it went right in the middle!

Great day and had dinner on the clubhouse terrace while watching the sun go down over the ocean.
I'll remember that day, and particularly will have the picture of that shot and ball flight in my head till the day I die.

In the Monthly medal, 6the hole par 3 158yds, 9 iron over the flag one bounce, checked up and spun back 10 foot into the cup, did not win the medal but that shot has stayed with me for ever
  10. Has to be the drive on the 17th Road Hole at Old Course St Andrews. More for what a solid drive on that hole means to anyone who loves golf, and finding left half of the fairway was sweet!

The best shot I hit was in a club match against an apposing club. On the first hole I blocked my tee shot out onto the adjacent hole leaving my approach blocked by tall trees. I had to chip my ball back out onto the first fairway. My opponent hit a perfect tee shot and knocked his second onto the green in two. I stepped up with a full pitching wedge to hit my third. My third shot went straight into the hole from 100m for birdie. My opponent turned around and looked at me with dismay. I went onto win the first hole and ended up winning the match quite easily. My opponent was still talking about my 100m pitch in to his team mates after the match was over. It goes to show how much a psychological edge you can gain in golf with a killer shot!!!
  14. My best shot with a Pro V1 was @ Woodlake Park.
Playing in a golf society and having the round of my life.
Came to the short par 3 14th 125 yards.
Pulled PW out the bag and took dead aim.
As soon as I hit it I knew it was going to be close but on this occasion It was better than close. 1 bounce with plenty of spin straight in the hole.
My first ever hole in one.
I won the society golf day with 46 points playing off 12 and will never forget that experience.
  15. Par 5 5th Moor Allerton Leeds. I cut a 5 iron up to hold the shallow green and put it to 18inch for eagle. It was a crappy day too.
  16. Milnerton Golf Course, Cape Town, South Africa

On the 10th hole par 4 I holed out for eagle from 100m out with a gap wedge
  17. March 2018, first hole, 295 yard par 4. Raised green, bunkers each side of opening to the green, wind left to right and damp. Driver pitched on green and realised it was going to be close. Hole in one and first albatross. Not bad for a 16 year old!
  18. The best shot I hit was at Carton House in the Jimmy bruen all ireland final on the 19th par 5 in foursomes a third shot to the green from 120 yards from rough to 8 foot to help win the final

I was playing in the first ever Seniors scratch 36 hole event @ Hankley Common. I was leading the net competition and had a 212 yd shot into the Par 4 18th (over a large ravine) and went for it. I hit a 5 wood to bounce on the green and stop 15 ft from the hole. I made the put and won the net competition and came 4th gross and my score was only beaten gross by 3 scratch handicap players from a field of 80+. Rickyist but best shot of mine ever.
