    At least we have golf; we can watch live golf and play the best game in the world.

    I am looking forward to watching the Masters in the fall. The course will look extremely different.

    For the tickets holders they will have an online store to purchase this years merchandise. The on course normally does close to $50M and this will help the committee recoup some of the lost revenue, but no relief for the city of Augusta and the small business who will suffer. Projected losses are around $100M. This pandemic has hit our country hard and I do not think we will ever recover completely. =(

    I predict my recliner will get a lot of use that week in November. Michael Breed was saying that tv viewers will be able to see the course as a player sees it when the Masters is not there, and that is one thing I am looking forward to. That is one thing I've really noticed watching golf with no fans.

    I am glad I was wrong in my prediction back in mid-March. It will be interesting to see The Masters without the fans.

    Will drive my wife crazy watching golf days on end. Guess you have to consider our native son to be a heavy favorite. DJ have been playing some good golf. Rahm and Webb should not be counted out either. Kinda like seeing golf in the fall in Augusta and am really liking golf with no fans, which might be playing into DJs personality.

    Bryson Dechambeau just brought a a 48" driver this week that he is hitting 350 yards with ease, that he is using to prepare for the Masters. He plans on driving it past some of those bunkers that no has attempted to ever do. The fairways are wide, he has a pretty good short game, and we all know he can putt. Dare we say that is not the heavy favorite the week of the Masters. Shot a 59 in the pro/am this week and grabbed the lead in Las Vegas with a low of 62. What does he have in his bag for us this week? -25..... Think he will look good in a green jacket......

    I don't think he'll be able to FIT into a green jacket!

    And, frankly, I would rather not see him get the opportunity to try.

    No disrespect to him personally, but me being a traditionalist and looking through my eyes, his style of play is not where I want to see the game move over the coming years. And, I'm not saying he isn't highly skilled in his abilities. He surely is. I just hate to see the game defined so much more about distance, particular since becoming a senior golfer myself, excessive distance is not something I can ever expect to use to my advantage.

    Sure, it's fun to watch an occasional monster who can get the ball out there off the tee, or hit a 9 iron 185 yards, but I do not want to see it becoming a prerequisite to being successful on the Tours. I have about as much interest in that as I do watching a Long Drive competition on the Golf Channel. It's a different sport completely in my opinion.

    Remembering how Tiger tamed the Masters. That had to deTiger the course and make it longer. It was wow when it was Tiger and now that it is Bryson, not the same response.......tit for tat.......
