  1. Sorry but I cannot get into pay $160 to watch simulator golf. I live fairly close and originally thought about going there until I saw the ticket price.

I agree...big price but at the same time it might be sort of cool to do once?

That's a steep price...do the players stick around after the match to meet attendees or sign autographs? My guess is there's a more expensive VIP ticket for that experience

The technology is pretty amazing and the ability to hit off of real turf and sand into a simulator adds to the realism. But when pros have perfect lies, they rarely hit bad shots especially in a relaxed environment. I think that take away from the experience a bit, in my opinion. And as Dale suggested, something is amiss with the artificial turf when they chip, they're struggling more than they should.

I may watch it periodically, but for the most part I'll stick to real golf.

I was a little intrigued at first and watched the first event but I could just not get into it. I’ve watched a few others since but the interest is lacking for me.

There was a triple-header today, and all the matches were close, with quite a few chip-ins. I still think it’s a fun watch.

Not my cup of tea. I would rather play or watch real golf. It may be for some people but not this old fart.

I have watched a little of the events. It is interesting but not that interested in watching a full event.

It's been fun to watch when I have the time. luckily I've been recording them so I can watch them after I put my daughter to bed.

Tried watching it…can’t get into it. Definitely would not pay those prices to attend in person.
  11. With the new hammer rules the matches are getting tighter and more fun to watch. a few of the first matches were blow outs and not very interesting.. But the players are starting to get a feel for it and the rules are updated to make it appealing. Give it a shot if you haven't watch yet!
  12. For entertainment it’s fine. Just feels overproduced/gimmicky.

Depends on who is playing. Some are better than others. Kisner's golf isn't great, but he's a great personality. Billy Ho and JT have been fun to watch also. For the most part, my son and I enjoy watching it.

I’ve watched a parts of a couple episodes. Interesting but not really my thing. I enjoy the real thing more.

I think it's gonna take time. I also think it's a winter watch - once the season starts in the north, viewership will decline considerably. I don't what the season is for TGL but it looks like it's a winter thing anyway so that's about as it should be. It's good for a golf fix during late winter and early spring in the north when we're all jonesing to play but can't so we watch anything golf that we can!!
