Hi Team Titleist
Thanks for sending me the new test balls i tried one of them this morning and it was long off the tee (I'm also trying out the new 915d3 driver). It felt solid off the irons and good round the greens.
Another excellent product form Titleist
Please let me know when they will be for sale so i can buy some more.
Many Thanks

HI TT,
Tried the new test balls yesterday and my comparison will be to those that I currently play with - a ProV1.
The test ball seemed a little firmer than my current ball but still have the impressive levels of control and spin. Being a little firmer than the ProV1 it seemed a firmer contact but distance didn't seem obviously different.
The most noticeable difference is that the covering lasted a lot longer. I would expect my current ball to last anywhere between 18-27 holes before the ball showed moderate levels of scuffing requiring a change, but after 18 holes, the test ball only had one minor scuff - much more impressive.
Thank you for the chance to test.
Cheers. Gus.

Thank you for sending me a sleeve of the titleist test balls. After playing with them this weekend, I have found that they feel softer, tremendous stop and grab around the greens and a lower flight of the tee. Once again many thanks for giving me this opportunity.

Thanks very much for sending me some test balls to try, I used them today with the new 915 Driver :-)
For me the ball felt nice and solid off the club face, in both long game and short game, had a great feel around the greens. I would say that it feels and plays just like the Pro V1x which is my preferred ball. I liked it very much, so I hope it's 2015's new Pro V1x!!

Firstly I would like to thank Team Titleist for my nice surprise in the post. This must be the only company to give customers the chance to try the ball and give feedback before they launch it.
I use the Pro V1x and the balls that were sent I'm guessing were the new Pro V1X. I wasn't disappointed, the ball feels great of the club face producing a great flight. Really nice to putt with and gave me confidence round the green with the feel it provides.
Another great ball from the top company, I will never go anywhere else.
Christopher CLETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY,
Got to play the test balls at the weekend. Quite probably mere coincidence but I had my best round of the year (no really).
The ball felt lovely and soft with very good (improved) amounts of spin, especially on chip shots around the green, which was great. Also noticeable was it's stability in flight, I found it held it's line against the wind very well. Finally, for such a soft feeling ball, no discernible distance was lost off the tee, can't say it was longer than a ProV1, but also did not feel shorter.
Would I play them, absolutely, there were no negatives to be found.

THANK YOU TEAM TITLEIST FOR THE SLEEVE OF BALLS TO TEST, IT WAS THE PRO V 1X I TESTED. THE WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE 13 DEGREES , WINDY AND GUSTING AT TIMES PLUS THE GROUND WAS DAMP. I WAS REALLY PLEASED WITH THE DISTANCE I WAS HITTING IT WITH MY DRIVER OFF THE TEE , FELT LIKE I WAS GAINING A FEW MORE YARDS CARRY WITH IT. THE IRONS SHOTS THE BALL WAS EASY TO CONTROL & HITTING ON TO THE GREENS THE DROP & STOP WAS EXCELLENT . CHIPPING & BUNKER SHOTS THE SPIN CONTROL WAS VERY GOOD. MY OVERALL VERDICT WAS THE BALL WAS SOFTER, FELT REALLY SOLID OFF THE CLUBFACE BOTH WOODS & IRONS PLUS GAINED LENGTH WITH BOTH . I HAD TWO ROUNDS OF GOLF WITH THE SAME BALL, THE DURABILITY WAS VERY GOOD. STUART L

Thanks for the balls, found them very good for distance with the driver off the tee but around the greens was best for me.
The feel and control were excellent, putting very consistent and pitching/chipping was great, did chip in from 60 ft once.

Tried the new sleeve of pro V1 x and found them to be great. Just can't see there being a better ball on the market from any other manufacturers!!! #NO1BALLINGOLF

Received my golf balls a couple of weeks ago now, and after 4 full rounds of golf I feel like I am qualified to give a solid overall opinion on them.
They certainly look better than the current Pro-V series, far brighter and whiter which is always nice.
Durability:
I found in general the golf balls to be more durable in colour, shape and performance over the rounds. They didn't cut up as much as the current Pro-V range. On full shots and particle wedge shots, no big obvious marks were made...a definite plus point.
Distance:
I found there to be no massive improvement in the overall distance of the ball. Certainly off of the driver there was no noticeable difference in carry or roll. (Time of year/conditions may well impact this) With the irons, the ball went the distances I expected on the golf course. It would be interesting to see if there are any physical number changed on Trackman when they are released.
Spin:
I felt the spin was lower off of the driver, and irons with this ball. It certainly did not back up as much on the greens with mid range approach shots. With the wedges, it spun good amounts and was very predictable - a big plus over the current offering which I feel doesn't always perform the same throughout a round.
Overall, I could see some improvement for the golf ball but not what I had expected. The biggest plus was the advances in the cover and how it performed over 18/36 holes.
Thanks again Titleist - a great chance to test ride some cool stuff! And my first ball test too!
