    Sunderland,

Just used my last titleist  test ball. Very impressed with how soft they felt almost getting back to the old balata feel I love. However after a thin out of a bunker the skin was cut down to the core. Other than that tip top kit.

I've only just signed up to this site after my full club fitting at Titleist so i missed out on the TEST sample balls being sent out. A friend at my club received his samples in the post and was kind enough to give me 1 of the sample balls to try out. The ball felt great of the club face but I found putting a little different to the Prov1 ball so I would need to have a bit more practice with the TEST ball to get a better feel off the face. Once the frost has cleared the TEST ball will be out of the bag again. Looking forward to see if titleist launch this ball but will probably need to be sitting down to read the price tag....

These new test balls seem to preform much better in windy and poor conditions. Difficult to say how good they are on the putting green due to the current weather/season but seem quite soft with good roll. They also seem to give consistent distance even on slightly miss hit shots. Will defiantly be buying more of these !!

Thanks for the test golf balls you sent me last October. As usual with Titleist Pro V's, the feel off the club face is excellent, Great for the short game and I found consistant flight off the driver and irons. I tend to hit quite a high ball flight, so would like to see if a ball with lower trajectory could be developed. I do need to check out my shaft kick points, but just a thought. Thanks again for the great balls, keep up the the good work Titleist.

Thank you to Titleistt for sending me three test balls. First impression was the balls were pro v1x protos looking at dimple pattern and red number on the ball. Waited for my Florida trip to try out the balls as conditions in the UK were not best to give accurate reflection. Overall liked the. New ball. Didn't see a huge difference from current pro v1/v1x. Would say new ball is slightly more durable. Feel was good as was green side spin, which is most critical for me when choosing a ball. Overall a slight evolution, but why change the best ball in golf dramatically. Will be using the new ball when it appears in a couple of months.

    Edinburgh,

Tried the 3 balls through late autumn and winter in Scotland.

Felt they were on a par with Pro V1s in terms of distance  travelled and control.

They appeared a little whiter to me and the outer was more durable than the Pro Vs I've been using which has been a bit of an issue when compared with other manufacturers e.g. cally. Would happily play the ball on a regular basis!

Thanks for sending the sleeve of balls for me to try.

I have used them in the recent wet conditions and feel that the ball definitely flies further than the pro v 1. Around the green it is very similar with great feel and control.

Overall it is a very good ball which i enjoyed using and I have kept one back to use when the conditions improve.

Thanks for the opportunity in testing the new version pro v golf balls. I have to be honest my game was not at its strongest but could tell the benefits of using this ball. What was very evident was the amount of punishment the cover was able to take. I had moved away from this brand of ball the last season and will definitely be my next purchase for coming season. Many thanks again div>

     Thanks for the test balls.

loved them, they had what I need. Distance , good spin through all irons and great feel with the Putter.

  13. Just completed 6 rounds with the three test balls sent. They were longer and more durable than previous balls. Unfortunately, the weather in the UK didn't allow me to assess the control around greens due to icy and fluctuating green conditions but overall very happy with what Titleist have produced. Can't wait for the warm weather to really put them through their paces

Played with these for just one round. Flew really well from the driver and 3 wood although struggled to control trajectory. Despite this flew really well and straight. Solid with irons and good spin with wedges. Really struggled getting the ball to the hole, just did not seem to matter how hard i hit it.
  15. First of all, thanks for the Test Balls. These balls are top quality, as expected for a Titleist ProV1. Great distance, low spin off the tee, great spin around the greens and a good feel, especially when putting.

Keep up the great work Titleist and don't stop sending DEMOs!

hi after testing the balls i found that the pro v1x certainly had a better overall feel the golf ball has a nice feel of the club, also being very responsive to strike quality however still performing when miss hit. In short am impressed with the new ball thanks Paul.

  17. TRIED THE NEW BALLS, GENERAL FEELING WAS MORE FORGIVING OFF THE TEE THAN THE PRO V1 WITH BETTER FEEL THAN THE NXT TOUR ON THE GREEN.

Thanks for the 3 test balls - they appear to be Pro V1x. Used for approximately 6 rounds, nice feel off the putter face, difficult to ascertain around the greens given soft winter conditions in the UK. As with titleist balls performance and durability is exceptional.

    Thanks

dear titleist, thank you for allowing me to test the most recent sleeve to arrive at my door, due to injury and weather conditions i have just managed to get my 1st round with the test balls,i have played continuously with pro v 1 s for maybe the last 10 years but these balls, whatever name they may have, are by far the best yet,off the tee with a driver they were long soft and seemed to cut through a strong cold wind without deviating from straight down the middle, off my irons they felt lovely and soft, short irons had good trajectory and stopped fast, seemed a wee bit longer than my usual distances, and lastly putting felt nice and soft .i apologise for the delay in giving you feedback.thanks again and would you please inform me which ball i was actually using because i need to use them from now on.john higgs.

Thank you for allowing me to test the new titleist golf balls. I received them in December last year but due to the bad weather I have not been out a lot over the winter but have managed to get out for the last two weekends (Saturday and Sunday both weekends) and have given them a go and must admit that they are very durable. Also found the came off my driver and 3 wood a lot straighter than normal and with a little bit less height giving me a few extra yards. I also liked the way they gave me a lot more control on the spin on my short chips. I would highly recommend this ball to any level golfer. Thanks Titleist again for allowing me to test out the new balls Regards Malcolm
  21. Tested Pro V1X in January 2015 , great length 5 to 10 yards longer than previous prov1X, durable, not did not appear to get the same spin control than the old ball when close to green.
