SM7 46 & 50, and my old trusted SM6 54 & 60, 4 wedges in total. Have swapped the P AP2 for a SM7 46 as i am more accurate with it.

I would agree that many people may benefit at the longer end of the bag but I am not a single figure golfer (11) and having 4 wedges (PW, 50, 54 and 60) works well for me. I have them gapped well and it means that I know I can hit a full shot a certain distance with each rather than having to finesse something if I was carrying one less wedge.

I am certainly more comfortable hitting full shots than trying to be creative.

For the last 3 years I have carried 4 wedges ap2 pw 52/56/60. this year
I will be swapping to 50/54 to address the gapping but I couldn’t be without 4 wedges.
Not a long hitter by any means so Allways worked hard on being decent 100yds in. Been cat 1 for a couple of years now so feel it works for me!

As per most of the other TT members I carry 4 wedges in total.

I have recently changed to AP3's from AP2's. The gap between the wedges has now changed as the AP3 PW is 43 deg.

So I have just purchased 48 and 52 SM7 vokeys rather than the 50 and 54 SM6 I had previously. I have however' stuck with the 58 SM6 as I find it still fits my game

I’m an advocate of a 4 wedge set up and currently have AP2 716 PW and then SM6 50, 54 and 58. I like the steady 4 degree gap between each club.
As I’m not a long hitter by any means (age, back issues and arthritis have seen to that!) - I need to keep my short game as sharp as possible to maintain my handicap in single figures...
I have NS Pro 950 shafts in my irons and 105T in my Vokeys. As my clubs are all longer than standard, I have paid particular attention to swing weights and they are progressive from 5i to PW and then wedges.
The PW and 50 I use mainly for full shots, the 54 less so and rarely with the 58.
I do know my yardages with full and partial shots pretty well and work hard on maintaining this.
Vokey set up is 50/08 F, 54/10 S and 58/08 S. This gives me plenty of flexibility to cope with a wide range of ‘finesse’ shots where using the bounce is key.
Works for me, but others may prefer to keep things simple...

I'm using 716MB's at the moment and as the PW is 47* I then go 52, 56 and 60 all in SM6. I'll be changing to SM7s in the next couple of months. I think it's more about grind and bounce options to be fair and I was fitted at Titleist St Ives which helped me make the choices.
I'd love to get SM7s in an Oil Can finish but they don't seem to do them anymore.

54 sm5 and 60 sm4 all I need. Probably would benefit from new wedges but I'm so happy with these two.

I have 52/56/60 sm6 but when I changed to my ap3s I am struggling with the pw/52 gap. My pw is good for 115 in the winter. My 52 I struggle to get to 90, more like 85 which gives me a problem. My plan. See my pro and get some new sm7 . But to answer your question defo 3 as the pw is to strong not to. These are scoring clubs and need more finesse . The long end is easier to be mother flexible. Hope it helps.

I’m carrying a 53 (54 adjusted to 53) and a 58 degree, I find these are enough without over complicating things.

I have SM6 58 and 52 degree wedges to keep a 6 degree gap between them and my PW which is a 716 AP2.

I’ve recently moved from a course where I was hitting a lot of long irons into greens to a course which is about 600 yards shorter with a number of down hill drives and means I’m now hitting a lot more short iron and wedge shots into the greens and attacking the pins a lot more. This is proving much more enjoyable.

I’ve got a definite gap in my wedges around the 90 yard mark and I plan to sort this out later this year with some new Vokeys but I’m sure I will end up with an extra wedge instead of a wood or hybrid.
