    Greenford,

Just been fitted for the PRO V1X, so the main goal is to get used to playing this ball instead of the PRO V1.

My goal this winter to work on my short game and get my handicap down to single figures, currently 10.6

I'm having a few lessons over the winter and will be working on my short game.
  4. I seem to have taken a year off this year!

My season started last week with only my 2nd Comp of the year and even missed our Club Championships for the first time

This is because I have 5 kids and with 3 of them under the age of 4 its like a military operation to arrange a round of Golf at the weekend and as long as there arent any kids parties!! oh and I moved house in July so have been decorating since and still have plenty to do!

Scored 34 pts on my first comp getting back into it and this is a part of a winter series of 6 Rounds so my season has only just begun and can't wait!!

But some Titleist gear would be lovely to help me keep dry and warm

Winter is swing fine tune season. Will continue to work at the range midweek and gain even more confidence in my new GT driver and Scotty 5.5!

    Kirkcaldy,

Aim is to play as much as I can through winter whilst also getting more range time than I normally do. Need to work on driver off the tee as just so inconsistent and also distance control with my wedges as when driver is playing ball I don’t take advantage of the shorter shots in too create better birdie chances. Seems fairly straightforward

    Afternoon TT.

After a half decent season, time to get back in the grind for me with fitness and Plenty of practice.

Going to try join the gym and get some mobility exercises in and work on my hips and Upper body strength.

Going to also dedicate some time to the short game, 2/3 times a week even if it’s 1 hour at a time so I can work on getting up and down more.

Long game has been good to me since putting the GT in the bag so no golf on the course for 2 months now and just try sharpening up the short game.

Hopefully get out most weekends - weather permitting. Keep working on swing, getting some fresh air and enjoying time spent with friends with aim to have some swing consistency ready for the better weather mid 2025
  10. Goals over the winter are to work on better tempo and to also dial in the wedges!

My focus for this winter is short game, playing a new course to me that requires a very good short game so thats my focus this year
  12. Goals are to get out there a bit more, and play a few neighbouring courses over the winter period, working on my short game to bring that hcp down

Working on the stack this winter to come back in march hopefully 10% quicker. In parallel working on wing, especially takeawy and weight shift. Unfortunately a hand injury has lost me a month, but used that to work on overall fitness and lost a few lbs. Hopefull;y that will now feed back into the other work

Equipment wise, I have my GT3 a while now and just used ordered a new 54 wedge to match my raw 60 sm9 from his year, although in the sm10. Have weakened the loft a degree on the custom order to try 50/55/60 for next year T100/raw sm10/raw sm9.
  15. Evening all.
Been a good season after taking the game up again after a 10 year break. Handicap back down to 3, enjoying it more than ever.

Aim this winter is to shift the tennis elbow that’s plagued me this autumn, and whilst doing that work hard on short game and putting with the target of getting to scratch for next summer.
  16. My Goals
Get out on the course as often as possible.

    Practice, practice and more practice!

I've finally realised that I'm not going to improve by playing competitive golf all the time.
  18. My goals for the winter, maintain my long game and improve my pitching chipping and putting.

    Good luck All!

My winter plans are definitely play more and get my handicap back down to single figures next season.
This season was a right off for me unfortunately with my hand injury and operations, but least I still have it and I’m still able to play golf.
    Onwards and upwards. ️‍♂️
  20. The plan is to enjoy the grind. My handicap has been heading upwards over the last couple of years and dropped out of single digits - I want to put the work in to get this back. Some swing changes are incoming on the back of lessons, and it feels like they've got the potential to limit my main flaw, hit it well, but spray it all over the place!
