If you were one of the first Team Titleist members to experience New Titleist GT drivers and fairways at an early-access fitting event, this is the thread where you can share your thoughts on look, feel, and performance with the wider community.

And while we encourage you to read through all these thoughtful reviews, we will add staff favorites in the highlights below.

"The TSR3 is good with minimal gains coming from TSi3. The GT3 feels like a completely different animal. Nothing against the Titleist engineers and designers, but I didn’t think there was that much that could have been improved upon. Well, I was wrong and am happy to eat crow for it. I can’t wait for my GT3 to arrive. Well done, Titleist. Keep it up!"  Daniel M.

"I played the TSR3 since it was released and thought it would be impossible to pass up. However, I was wrong. The GT line is a complete night and day difference. I fit to the GT3 11° TOUR X shaft, and after the first swing, I wanted to take it home. The miss hits come out way better, center shots were way longer than the TSR, and the sound was different. My fitter did a fantastic job and I'm excited to get mine soon. My average carry was 285 withe TSR3 and GT3 was 295. Never expected to gain but maybe 1-2 yards. Getting fit is something I strongly suggest. Find a good fitter and give it a swing, you will not be disappointed."  Derrick B.

"I had my fitting on July 16 with Garrett Todd. He knows my game and has fitted me twice before. When he told me I’d love it on my first swing, I had doubts it’d be better than my TSR. Then he said [I'd get] more ball speed plus bring my dispersion pattern tighter and I just had to try it. It’s better than what you’ve been reading and listening too. It’s the most solid driver I’ve ever felt. Titleist makes great clubs but [GT] is a game changer from the first swing."  Gary H.

  2. My fitting went very well and I really enjoyed the new look, feel an performance of the GT drivers!

The one aspect I thought I was interesting is that we went with a stiffer tip shaft, which I had not done in the past drivers releases...interesting. Plus, I easily launched the ball higher with minimal effort.

I cant wait to get my driver and fairway metals!!

    Cheers

Did my fitting on July 11th, loved the experience. Jason Shesterenko was my fitter and he was extremely helpful and informative. Loved the look and feel of the GT3 I was fitted for , just waiting on its arrival.

As usual it was more than just a fitting. The knowledge of the Titleist fitters is second to none. After a brief explanation of the new head design and how it’s going to benefit all players the true fitting began. The ability to mix and match head models and shafts to dial in launch numbers and get the optimal flight is what the fitters train for. All this and more done in a minimal amount of time. If you have any doubt about getting fit, go see your fitter. Shout out to Trevor in Houston!!

Really enjoyed my fitting earlier this month and the gifts that were provided. Had plenty of time with both 2 and 3. With the ability to adjust heel to toe on the 3 that is what I went with. 9 degree head and Fuji TR blue. At the time Titleist said they had not tested with the new ventus line and were not available to test. Happy with the combo. Great job Titleist.
  7. Just have to try it! I currently game the TSi3 and tested the TSR3 and they were pretty much even. The GT3 is a different animal. Looks fantastic, hot off the face and inspires confidence!$
  8. Similar experience. The TSr3 is good with minimal gains coming from TSi3. The GT3 feels like a completely different animal. Nothing against the Titleist engineers and designers, but I didn’t think there was that much that could have been improved upon. Well, I was wrong and am happy to eat crow for it. 9. I played the TSR3 since it was released and thought it would be impossible to pass up.... However, I was wrong. The GT Line is complete night and day different. 10. I enjoyed my time with Robert for my GT fitting. I am a 21 index and play when I can for fun. My goal was to upgrade my 2019 TS2 with something new and I did just that. Although it was well over 100 degrees, making it very sweaty, Robert was great throughout the process and dialed me into a GT3 8 degree. Although I was nervous and didn’t swing my best during the fitting, I was confident with his recommendation and it felt, sounded, looked like such an awesome piece of equipment. Being left handed I am always skeptical of my equipment options but Robert had a full arsenal of south paw heads which put me at ease. I had a few smoked drives that were better in every way from my old TS. I was doing controlled 3/4 swings that out drove, significantly lower spin, and all around great feel, from my current club. It is expensive and “need” may not be the right word, but I trust the Titleist brand and really enjoyed the fitting with Robert. It arrives tomorrow and I’m looking forward to getting back out there for a full round. Happy swinging to all of you out there.
  11. I have now had a chance to play 2 rounds and I am still happy with my purchase. I agree with Robert’s assessment of me and the GT3 with the tensei 1K stiff shaft. I was better and happier than my old TS.

I got fitted into the GT3 and it was a wonderful experience. The gains I saw in distance, dispersion, ball speed, and the better miss hits shocked me. They somehow made a driver that is more forgiving and goes farther. Go try them out you won’t be disappointed.
  13. Had a fantastic fitting at Hudson National. Getting out of the Paradym Triple Diamond Driver 3w and hybrid and into the GT3 Driver, GT2 3W and GT3 5W. Improvement in the spin was the most dramatic which resulted in an additional 20 yards of carry and 30 yards total.

Had my fitting on the 26th. Great feeling clubs and a great experience. I was fit into the GT3 with the VR 6X, and it is a great combination. I was most impressed with the spin consistency on miss hits. If I caught one low or in the heel with my TSR I was around 3100-3300, with the GT3 I was consistently around 2500 on mis-hits. Can’t wait to get these!

Had my GT driver fitting on 7/24 with Marc Mitchell and really enjoyed it. Ended up going with the GT2 11 deg, w/+2g and Fuji TR Red 5 S. To me, this driver has a very different feel than past Titleist drivers. The ball really pops of the face, but feels very soft - like with you hit an iron pure and it feels like you hit a marshmallow!! Looking forward to playing with it!!

I picked up 13 yards with the GT2 with a 40g Air Speeder shaft. I like that the GT head is slightly more pear-shaped than the TSR2. Great job Titleist!

I had my fitting on July 16 with Garrett Todd. He knows my game and has fitted me twice before. When he told me I’d love it one my first swing, I had doubts it’d be better than my TSR. Titleist makes great clubs but this is a game changer from the first swing. All the non believers out there you’re making a HUGE mistake if you don’t get fitted or at the very least hit it. My guess is you’ll be ordering one lol. They are that good. Can’t wait till my driver and fairway metals get here. Just wait till you hit it !!!!
  19. I was fitted with Jim Pooler. He was great. I ended up getting the GT4. I immediately noticed the difference in feel and even the distance. My ball speed increased and spin rate went down tremendously.

Can’t wait to receive my driver. I will be ordering my GT wood asap.

Thanks Jim!!!! And thank you Titleist!!!

Jimmy is a great fitter, and even better guy. A real pro.
  21. Simply, Wow! I was amazed with the leap forward with GT, my current setup is TSR3 8.0 Ventus Blue6S, walked away with GT3 8.0 GD AD-VF 7S. The fitting was key to optimizing my ball flight, I picked up 20yds in carry. The accuracy and distance maintained on off-center hits is second to none. I can’t wait for my new Driver and 3WD to arrive. Many thanks to my fitter Brian, who optimized my fitting experience!

Can't wait for my fitting. Not until September. Most people must be really excited about this line because it was hard to get any appointments in my area
  23. Did my fitting on July 15th and immediately found myself hitting the ball better, more consistently with the GT3 compared to my TSR3. It was a no question purchase for me, with no idea of when I would get it in the bag. Randomly check my email and see that it's been shipped and received it on August 2nd. First round out of the gate shot a lifetime best 69, thanks to the GT3 keeping me in play but still going a long way. Love it!

My fitting was an awesome experience. I absolutely loved the feel and performance of the GT drivers. However I did not have any major gains from my current driver TSR3. We tried several different setups and shafts during the fitting. The best setup we could come up with was the GT3 with a Graphite Design AD VF shaft that gave me 3 more mph ball speed. Me and my fitter both agreed that my current setup is best for me right now, but I will probably end up purchasing the GT3 at some point down the road.

I was fitted on 7/10, and it was amazing - the drivers were phenomenal. The feeling was such a deep, solid feeling, better than just about every metal wood I've hit. I was fit into the GT2 and it was certainly low-spinning enough for me - paired with a Ventus Blue 6X. I decided to order a stock shaft, and then order the new 2024 Ventus separately that Titleist doesn't quite offer yet. Anxiously (a little impatiently) waiting for my GT driver to get here! Many who have been fitted after me are receiving theirs now. Please help, Titleist.

I had my fitting on July 9th with Michelle Zaydon. The gains with the driver were good, but the fairways are where I saw the most impact. The shaft selection did surprise me as I was fit for the Graphite Design AD VF6 in stiff for all three clubs. I would have thought I would fit in a softer shaft but these had the absolute best numbers.

Now if they would only ship!
