Thanks for sending the Prototype balls, I have used them over the past couple of weeks and found the ball feel’s firmer when chipping and putting also seemed to run out a lot more. It added about 5 yards in length off the driver and a difference in the sound from the driver was notable. The ball goes through the wind well and the ball fight was a little lower than I’m normally used to with the pro V1,

Hi the test balls were very similar to NXT pehaps a bit softer and maybe slightly longer or my golf is improving. Nice feel.

I really enjoyed playing with the new test ball.
I normally play with a Pro V1 and I am assuming the test ball, which had black lettering on it, is the successor to that ball. I could not see any immediate change to the dimple pattern on the test ball and the impact sound, which is reassuring.
The sound and feel around the greens was very good and it also felt like it was going straighter and felt a bit more penetrating than the current Pro V1.
The cover of the test ball also seems more durable than the existing ball. After three rounds it was still in good condition - better than my existing Pro V1.
I seemed to get less spin with the new ball and my drives flew lower. This gave me about 5 yards more carry with the new ball.
All in all, I am very impressed and would happily buy the new ball.

Please leave your feedback in this discussion post. Tried out the test balls and although it was quite cold at the time still got plenty of feel from the balls. They seemed to fly further with the perfect strike and had plenty of backspin on greens.look forward to using them when the weather gets a bit better.

1st of all, many thanks for sending a sleeve of 3 balls. I have only played with these balls at my home course, Wrexham in a mixture of wintery weather conditions. I have played 3 rounds with one ball, it is still white in colour and has a couple of small scuff marks, from playing out of our bunkers! The ball seems to launch to mid-flight all the time, which is great on our windy course and the links courses I normally play on. I normally play Pro v1x which give a hell of a lot of spin, these balls seem to sit down quicker and not as much spin on wet greens - I did a comparison with a full wedge into our short par 3 - Pro v1x spin back was 15', with the test ball 6'. Distance wise, I think the test ball is about the same as my normal shots in carry & overall length. Around the greens, the ball feels nice & soft, giving you that confidence to have a go!, One thing to mention, i normally mark all my balls with my stumpy highlghter pen - the ink washes off this ball, a lot sooner than on other balls, so had to do touch-up's of red ink during the round to help keep my id. The one thing I am impressed with, is the ball after a couple of rounds still looks and feels new, with the whiteness still showing and ball not turning to that grey/white colour. I do like these balls a lot, just wondering how they would react on firmer summer greens. Regards Peter

Hi received my golf balls a few weeks back - thank you
Pro v1x - in terms of distance hard to tell apart from the old one but the feel and sound off the irons seemed so much softer and less 'clicky'. I thought they responded well around the greens in particular the one bounce and check shot was easier to perform than before.
I gave a ball to one of my playing partners and he definitely picked up extra yardage from the TM Penta he usually uses - he's going to convert when the new balls are released.
Overall for me no distance gain but definitely much more control from around the greens
Thanks again for the trial balls

Once again a great ball I assume the test balls are or will be the new Pro V1 they certainly play like the Pro V1. My course is near waterlogged at the moment and has been shut on several occasions. However I did manage to get a round in but the course didn't do the ball justice. I'll be going out after Christmas with the new Titleist 915 D2 driver lets see if we can break 280 yards with the test ball and driver !

These new balls feel softer especially off the putter face and playing the wedgies around the green. Unfortunatley I have not been able to use them off the driver due to the weather conditions on the course.

Got these balls awhile back, been trying them in different conditions: hot, windy and now relatively cool (for Bahrain)! Flight is good, and spin on full shots but not happy with half wedges and chips as tend to run much hotter than ProV1 so running past sticks where I used to get it stiff! Other than that, if this a replacement for NXT Tour, doesn't seem to bounce on so high when coming down on hard fairways...

Have played a couple of rounds with the test balls. Although no markings they feel like Pro V1s, although around the green and off the putter they do feel softer. This reminds me of the feel you get off the old balata balls.
They do seem a bit easier to shape than other balls, although I'll need a few more rounds to see how they really play.
Durability wise they seem pretty resilient so far. Minor wear and tear on two balls used over two rounds.

Hi,
first of of thanks for allowing to test the new Titiest Pro V1X ball.....
im not the best putter in the world so I rely on my long game more so than most so I'm always keen to try out the latest product from Titliest....
i must say that the test ball is fantastic - I bit more of a solid feel off the tee but still maintains a great feel on approach shots. Very durable ball too - have used the same ball for a few rounds and still maintains a flight and condition as if I've only just taken it out of the box. Hope Titliest bring this fella to the market - as the ball is fantastic

It has taken a while but I finally got around to testing my first ball from the Test sleeve. My comments on the first round:
Hope this helps and many, many thanks for including me in the "test team"!!!
