Thank you for the test balls. I played one round with them in windy conditions.
i found them relatively long and straight with the driver and full shots. Short game shots were fine as well. I found them firmer on putts than my normal ball but it wasn't an unpleasant feeling, just different to my usual.
i would happily play with them again.

Hi Hannah,
Thank you for the test golf balls you sent me (can't wait to try them out).
unfortunately due to the inclement weather at the moment I have not been able to try them out as our local courses have been closed for the last 4 weeks!!
i will re post my thoughts and comments as soon as I get chance.
thanks

Unfortunately on this occasion due to an ongoing injury I have been unable to play for the last few months and therefore unable to play the test balls you kindly sent me.
Once the situation changes and I am back playing I will send my feedback
Many thanks for allowing me to continue as a Team Titleist product tester.
Peter.

Thanks for allowing me to test the new balls, very pleased with them. They didnot give me any extra distance, but did seem to fly straighter, even in the windy conditions we have had of late. Felt good around and on the green, seemed to have a softer feel and left the club nicely. Would certainly use them again, kept their shape, colour and appearance throughout the rounds. Very pleasing.

Enjoyed the experience today on the damp course. Ball flew straight, a good distance and even gave me some backspin on some greens - a first for me in this wet weather. The balls don't float, so lost it after 14 holes, but they are still scared of the dark - missed some close putts.
For a 27 handicapper, I'd buy some tomorrow and look forward to using the other two soon - when the weather perks up a bit. Usually use Velocity balls, so hope this is one of the same..........
Thanks, Hannah, for a great ball! :-)

Was quite impressed with the test ball,it was very windy each time I played so difficult to judge distance.
found the ball was nice and straight just like my usual NXT tour. Felt good of the driver with a pleasant sound and I putted very well with the ball.
will be surprised if it's not a new NXT tour as I would definitely purchase this ball in the future .luckily I've still only used the one ball which as stood up well to the 3rounds I've used it .
thankyou titleist for letting me try this ball.cant wait to find out which ball it is.
Thanks. Tony Walker

Hi Will
Welcome to Team Titleist.
Thanks for you interest in joining the golf ball testing team. When signing up for Team Titleist you are automatically put forward for the selection process. The selection process for the test ball feedback varies depending on the opportunity but most are random selections. However, the more you participate and the more engaged you are with Team Titleist, from posting in the discussions and adding blog comments to completing your profile, the better your chances are at potentially opening the doors to these Team Titleist rewards.
All Team Titleist members are considered when we have opportunities like the recent test panel. We do our best to include as many Team Titleist members as possible but as you can imagine, we can't include everyone in every test panel.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
thanks for the test balls, which have been tried under some extremely windy and testing conditions. First impressions are - good flight, particularly with irons, good stopping power with short irons and good feel off the putter face. Would happily put these into my bag tomorrow

Dear Hannah
Thank you for the opportunity to play the Test Golf Ball. My ball of choice is the Titleist NXT Tour that I play all year round and I use Titleist clubs. Of late I have played in very windy conditions! My impressions:
I played yesterday in a Force 6 plus at times, which resulted in the ball being moved by the wind on the green at times! Nevertheless, I was able to generate a consistent roll and again there was good "feel" on the putter.
The ball made an impression on me and It would be interesting to know of where it might fit in the Titleist range.
Best wishes and thank you for inviting me to take part,
John

Terry B. Thanks for the pack of balls and the invite to test again. Lovely sound off the putter face didn't seem as firm as NXT but different to Pro V good roll as good as NXT but just seemed to roll that bit further. Good reaction off wedge seemed to get plenty of grip on landing but our wet conditions didn't help to get an overall reaction. Penetrating flight with good click off the club face, Will continue to test before I loose them or friends realise what I am using and want a TEST BALL. Thanks again and a Merry Christmas with Lots of Birdies in the New Titleist Year. Terry B

Unfortunately my local course has been closed for some time due to severe weather conditions, but luckily was open today but conditions were frosty, when driving off the ball felt quite hard ,but the length of drive was a lot longer than normal, probably due to frosty conditions, also playing off mat on the fairway, noticed majority off drives and iron shots were very straight (Normal shots have a fade).was very please when putting. felt good when striking the ball, AND I holed quite a few really long putts.
But felt the conditions were unfair to test the ball and will update this test as soon as possible. Frank

First game for some time due to weather,so wasn't expecting great results. First couple of drives ball felt solid and slow, once into my swing though ball was good in flight,
HIgher flight off tee than my normal ball (velocity) but Good distance and straighter. Biggest difference was round the green where response to chipping and putting was much better. Now looking forward to keeping hold of at least one of these balls for the better weather.
Ball used was white, black writing and red numbering, was impressed even in west of Scotland weather conditions.

Hi Hannah and all at TT,
Thanks for the balls, I jumped out of my skin when they arrived, my girlfriend thought I'd gone mad.
Driver, played more consistently than the regular Velocity's that I play. After hitting them at a comfortable swing speed, I felt confident about trying to step on it.
Irons, played very consistently and held their shape well. However, they did start feel heavier as the rounds progressed.
Wedges, despite the wet conditions, they played well. I differently felt that the balls where quite heavy in this area of my game. This gave me a little more confidence to go at the hole, compared to the normal Velocity's I play.
Putting, felt solid off the club face, most putts held the line I hit them on, well.
I would definitely game these when they become available.
Many thanks,
Tom

First off I'd like to give thanks for allowing me to test these golf balls, unfortunately being December now and running up to Christmas it hasn't been the greatest golfing weather and nor unfortunately have I been able to test these golf balls as much however I've managed to use them for 2 rounds and this is what I found. I normally game the Pro V1 in the colder months so that is what I will be comparing this ball too.
The ball themselfs in aesthetics look good, feel on the harder side however they do look a bit 'shiny' (I think slightly glossy would be the correct term) however after a hit with the driver it looked like just about any golf ball so no complaints there. I found them to be durable (even after an accidental bounce down the cart path I found them the outer to be more durable than other competiting golf balls).
Driver and fairway woods: Low spin and slightly lower trajecotry (on a normal strike) with very good distance off of the tee, they feel on the harder side when struck however I seemed to have gained around 20 yards whilst still retaining great feel so no complaints there. I found I was able to control them both in shot shape and height as easily as my normal ball.
Irons/Wedges: Long to mid irons I found a nice solid sound off of the face, felt firm and flew slightly lower than my normal trajectory. 130 yards in (my normal PW distance) I found the ball flew on a nice penetrating trajectory but still landed soft with good spin, not as much as my normal game ball but still very good results. Around the greens I found it had a good feel, was easy to control and spun well.
Putter: Nice solid feel and sound (a slightly higher pitched sound I found) and it gave good feedback. It held it's line well on putts It would be nice to give these balls a test again in the summer when the weather is nicer and more golf can be played with them as I feel these would perform brilliantly in summer conditions. Taking a guess at what this ball could be I would say it's possibly something like the DT Solo or NXT Tour and it will be interesting to find out what they are.
Many thanks again for allowing me to take part in this test.

Finally got a chance to test the new balls. First off I normally play Titleist Velocity. The Test balls felt good off the Driver but noticed a slightly higher flight than I normally get. Distance was slightly further and straighter. Mid irons showed little difference. The main difference came from the high irons which flew much higher than I get from the Velocity. Over all on the first test I liked them and would consider switching. My playing partners were so impressed with the 24 points I got in the front nine that they want to know when they can get them, and would you please send them a dozen.
Sorry forgot to mention that I felt that the test balls had a softer feel off the putter than the Titleist Velocity

I thought the balls went further off the tee. I was making putts I normally do not. Winter conditions are hard to judge with iron shots. the balls seem to jump. please tell me what kind i was playing and i want to use them immediately.

Thank you for allowing me to test the new ball.
Good distance off the tee, consistently long and straight, good distance into the wind.
Vert good feel around the green, with a little bit of check.
Excellent feel off the putter. Softer than the DT & Velocity. Comparable to the Pro V 1.
Will definitely be using it, if I new its model name and which ball it will replace?
Thank you

Thank you for sending me the test balls. I have been able to play with them twice now albeit in fairly challenging conditions. The feel of all the clubs was really nice if a bit clicky. They seem to behave much better than my normal
