  1. Played every day since the course has been open! Can’t get enough.
We’re limited to 9 holes a day so making the most of it while the weather is fairly good. Hoping we’ll be able to get a full 18 in soon. Fingers crossed!

Hope everyone is enjoying their return to golf!
  2. Had my first round today on the Old Course at Walton Heath.

Lovely to be out, conditions were ideal. I played okay some good and some pretty average - putting was surprisingly sound. Feeling the odd niggle now but definitely worth it.

The lack of rain is apparent with the fairways having suffered a little.

The pace of play was great - done is just under 3 hours and were never held up or held up the group behind. I definitely think they could shave a minute or two off the gap between groups as that would mean more get the opportunity to play.

Can’t wait for next weekend now.
  3. As I am in the high risk group because of being on immunosuppressant drugs for Crohn's disease it looks like I will be shielding until the twelfth of never. Still basking in the glory of winning the club competition on my last round pre lockdown.

    Enjoy it guys

In haven’t been able to get out yet. My club opened for play on Friday and by Saturday had reduced the time between tee slots from 10 mins down to the normal 8 minutes on both the normal and short course. Trolleys available for hire. Visitors and members allowed from day 1, okay they’ve restricted to 2 balls but no ability to book as a single. Range open from day 1, though they’ve reduced the number of bays in operation.
Since my wife is in the highly vulnerable category and were both key workers I’ve said I can’t see myself going to the club for months yet because of some of the decisions they’ve taken.
They didn’t seem too fussed about it. I don’t feel very valued or that my concerns were really listened to.

Glorious day today and really enjoyed getting out on the course. Took just over 3 hours with the 10 min spacing working really well .... perhaps the club will keep with the booking system process (had been ball in chute prior to COVID 19)

  6. Been out every day since Wednesday. Limited to two balls and only one tee time per day. No guests permitted. Practice ground is open, alternate bays, 30 minute time limit, no teeing up or handling balls. Nice to be playing a more relaxed game but I’m sure that competition golf will be back soon.

I have played every day, only trouble is my scores seem to be getting worse the more I play.

First round was great, shot 6 over, but yesterday it was 12 over. Definitely need to work on the short game and putting. strangely, they were the 2 areas I practiced during lockdown.

Having a few days off now to recuperate, next game not until Thursday.

All closed in Scotland still but I’m hearing wee whispers things might be changing soon.....
Can’t wait to get out and sclaf the first tee shot into the trees or 10ft down the fairway, either way I can’t wait....

Not sure when we will get out up here but I’ve got first tee nerves ready and waiting.....
  10. Hi , I played 9 holes this morning first time since July last year for various reasons
Very rusty but hit some good shots some thins but short game was not too bad . Just glad to be out of the house and back playing our brilliant game again. Organisation at the club was brilliant with one way systems etc
Going to book more games this week !
Good playing to all Team Titleist members
  11. Hi Matt,

Managed to get out for a couple of 9-hole rounds, our course opened last Wednesday for 9-holes (booking either the front or back 9). Managed to play over the weekend, played pretty well to be fair, shot 39 on the back 9 (+3) on the Saturday and 43 (+5) on the front 9 on Sunday.

First tee shot was pretty solid, 3/4 PW to the 115-yard Par 3 10th at my home course to about 12-feet, missed the birdie but kick in par.
